Complete our Online Measurement Form
Once you have picked out the attire for your wedding day, you and your party can begin the measuring process. Accurate measurements will make final fittings easy and less time consuming on pick up day. Measurements should be completed and recorded with us at least four weeks prior to your wedding date. In the event that an attendant is unable to be fitted four weeks in advance, please have them do so as quickly as possible.
Measurements not received within two weeks of the wedding date are subject to a late order fee. Your timely measurements help us to ensure that all tuxedos are ready on time. Please call us anytime to check on the completion of measurements for your attendants.
Getting measured at Mr. Burch - store location where bride and groom registered: Your wedding party can be measured at any time during regular store hours. When an attendant visits our store, they simply need to know the date of your wedding and your first and last names. The fitting should take approximately fifteen minutes. We will require a reservation fee from the attendant at this time, unless you have made other arrangements with us. Getting measured at Mr. Burch - store location near attendant: Members of your wedding party can be measured at a Mr. Burch location near them, even though you may have registered at a different Mr. Burch location. When an attendant visits one of our other locations, it is important for them to know which Mr. Burch location you are registered at. They will also need to know the date of your wedding and your first and last names. The fitting should take approximately fifteen minutes. We will require a reservation fee from the attendant at this time, unless you have made other arrangements with us. All your attendants pick up at the location in which you are registered. This store will be aware of any special needs you may have and has the original wedding contract noting any changes made during the planning process. Transferring measurements from a previous rental from Mr. Burch: Sometimes one or more members of your party will have previously rented from Mr. Burch. We keep measurements on file and we are happy to use these measurements if they are current and accurate. Your attendants should call us and provide us with the date of the past rental and the store location where they picked up the tuxedo. They will also need to know the date of your wedding and your first and last names. Getting measurements from out of town: Very often wedding parties have at least one attendant living in another state. It will be necessary for them to be professionally measured at a formalwear store in their area. There are several ways to get their measurements to us.
1. We can provide you with a pre-printed measurement card to be completed by the formalwear specialist. This form lists all the measurements we need. Please complete the top portion of this card; their name, your names and your wedding date, prior to mailing the card to your attendant, as this information is important in processing their order. The cards are pre-printed with our address to assure the card is mailed to the correct store location.
2. OnLine Measurement Form - The attendants can go to a formalwear store in their area and have the measurements professionally taken. Then complete the form with all the pertinent information on-line and we'll do the rest.
We strongly recommend your attendants, including boys, be measured by a tuxedo specialist to ensure accuracy. The tuxedo shop should have a jacket for them to try on so they are confident the size will be comfortable and fit correctly. At the final fitting, when schedules can be hectic, the number of adjustments we must make correlate with the accuracy of the measurements we receive.
